Ocean Spray plant, scientifically Holodiscus discolor, is a native North American deciduous shrub known for its stunning, frothy clusters of tiny creamy-white flowers that look like ocean foam, attracting pollinators and providing wildlife food/shelter, and its hard wood was historically used for tools. Also called Creambush, it's a tough, adaptable plant common in western forests, thriving in sun or shade and tolerating dry conditions, making it great for native gardens.
