A black twinberry (Lonicera involucrata) is a native North American shrub known for its paired, bright black berries that look like they're in a little red nest (from colorful bracts), and its small, tubular yellow flowers that attract hummingbirds and pollinators, making it great for wildlife and damp areas like stream banks. Though its berries are edible for birds and bears, they're bitter and not for humans.
