The Puget Sound Native Tree Garden has a major Island fresh water stream flowing in the estuary during low tide. In the fall this stream attracts salmon. The cold water pond on the property is habitat for cutthroat trout. During mid- and high tide the bay laps against the bank of the property and supports a huge array of marine vertibrates. This page will be updated and become more comprehensive in 2026-27.
